Dayfari — turn your day off into a safari
Finding something to do nearby shouldn't mean scrolling through ten different sites, half of them out of date. Dayfari pulls together what's actually on in your town — events, classes, farmers markets, family activities — into one feed you can browse in a couple of minutes, pick something, and go.
Every town Dayfari covers gets its own feed, built from public event listings, venue calendars, and community sources, with a person checking it. On top of that data we write our own guides: what things cost, when to go, and what's genuinely worth your time. Listings are never paid placements. A business can't buy its way to the top of your results, and listing a business or an event is free.
What you can do with Dayfari
- Events near you — a live feed of what's on around you, with a free-only filter, saved events, and reminders so the good stuff doesn't slip past.
- Ideas for your days off — tell Dayfari which days you're off and it suggests things that actually fit them.
- Classes and markets — local classes and farmers markets, with honest notes on price and what to expect.
- Family time — kid-friendly activities that go beyond the usual playground roundup.
- Road-trip stops — say where you're headed and how far you'll detour, and Dayfari finds the viewpoints, waterfalls, and small-town stops along your route.
Start with a town guide
Our written guides live on the Dayfari blog, and every covered town has its own page of what's on — for example, what's on in Abbotsford. The app above is the full experience: open it, set your town, and your feed is ready.
Who runs Dayfari
Dayfari is built and run by Valley Optimize Digital, a small digital agency in Abbotsford, British Columbia. We're the people who answer the contact form. If something in your town's feed looks wrong — a cancelled event still listed, a wrong time — tell us and we'll fix it. More about how we work is on the About page, and the plain-language details of how we handle your information are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Run a café, a studio, a market stall? List your business free. Organizing something people should know about? Submit your event — a person reviews every submission before it goes live.
